The Eclipse Heir · Book One
Sunfang
A Vampire LitRPG
Murdered at his own Dawning, the heir of Noon wakes as a vampire who can walk in daylight.
On the longest day of the year, Sorin of House Meridian stands on the uncut sunstone of Highnoon and is given the class every heir of Noon has been given for nine generations: Noonblade, Epic. By midnight he is dead, killed in the family crypt by the man who taught him to fight, on an order nobody will name.
He wakes on a black table in Vesperhold, the castle across the Sallow that Highnoon calls the Black Castle, with no pulse, no reflection and a voice in his blood: Vesper, the vampire queen his ancestors burned three hundred years ago. She has opinions about everything.
Then the window opens, and it is trying to write him over.
Class: Noonblade 1 (Epic)
Status: Erasing…
Status: Refused.
Class: Sunfang 1 (Legendary · Eclipse)
Aspect: Eclipsebound (Unique)
Blood: 24 / 160 · Starving
So Sorin keeps up appearances. By day he sits in Council, dances at court and hides his cold hands, and the sun that should burn him feeds him for as long as his Blood holds above half. By night he levels a class nobody has ever heard of, claims a ruined castle hall by hall, and takes in a household nobody else will have, under the one law Vesper never had: nobody under this roof is food, unless they say so.
Then a knight of the Order of the Dawn stands before the whole Council and says it aloud.
There’s a vampire in Highnoon.
How long can the heir of Noon hide in plain sight?
Sunfang is Book One of The Eclipse Heir: a gothic vampire LitRPG with System windows, a Legendary class to level, a castle to win back and a household to keep fed.
